Espad'occ: a brand of espadrilles that promotes local manufacturing

Espad'occ is a brand of espadrilles made in France . The brand is committed to offering fair prices to consumers while promoting local manufacturing , sustainability and reduced carbon emissions. All espadrilles are made in Mauléon in France. They are then sent to customers from the town of Miramont d'Astarac in the Gers.

The brand is only marketed via its website.

 

The accessible prices of Espad'occ products make it possible to target a younger clientele, often overlooked by this type of product.

Through Espad'occ, its founder leads a real fight to promote local manufacturing , durability and thanks to that offer products in short circuit , for reduce carbon emissions due to the transport of goods coming in particular from medium or large imports, promote European know-how and maintain jobs , and why not eventually create them. 

Our history

The Espad'occ project bears an evocative name of espadrilles and Occitan, the main objective of the project. 

Maxime, the founder, studied business, and it was in 2020, after the death of his father, that he laid the beginnings of the project. Naturally shy but curious about the world around him, the young man set out to understand the French clothing market, and the French made in particular, by studying the margins applied by existing brands and by looking for solutions to offer a product of the same quality at a fairer price, sensitive to the environmental cause but which do not always have the portfolio adapted to their desires. He quickly understands that if he wants to offer a product of  quality at an affordable price, it is then necessary to find solutions to reduce superfluous costs on handling, shipping and of course margins. In May 2022, after a first attempt with the made in France brand Mel et Max, he gave birth to the Espad'occ and Top of the wave projects.
